daniel johnson is mr muddle; a semi-conscious media creation regurgitating electronic synapse and notes from the world. Stimuli was created using a microKorg, Roland SP-303 sampler, and clips of elected representatives processed together in the Amadeus single wav editor.

Stimuli explores the political posturing surrounding the February 2009 American Stimulus and Recovery Act of 2009. Mr Muddle combines Presidential addresses, congressional debate, economic assessment, and radio derangement with a current of musical metaphor illustrating the inner workings of political will volleying through the echo chamber of our media.
